We began harvest a full two months later than any of the previous harvests at the Kiler Grove vineyard.
We were biting our nails as we went later and later into the year fearing there might come a rain and destroy our crop.  Fortunately we were able to bring in all the varietals but one without threat of rain.
The Mourvedre however was still on the vine and looking just a tad under ripe, and here came the weather we feared.  Rain.  So we had the choice to grab it or lose it.  We grabbed it.
